The Preschool at Newtown Presbyterian Church - 215‑968‑3861

Established by the church in 1996, The Preschool at Newtown Presbyterian Church is a well respected program that fosters learning skills through music and art enrichment. Parents appreciate the standards of excellence in curriculum development, and the variety of teaching goals that nurture academic, social, and emotional development of 3-5 year-old children. Our unique curriculum is woven throughout the art and music process of our program. As the curriculum is taught, the child’s classroom, by way of their art work, becomes a daily reinforcement of everything they’ve learned throughout the school year.  As layers of their art grow so does the child’s confidence, pride and love of learning.

We offer a 3 year old morning session from 9:15-11:45 a.m. and our afternoon session is from 12:30-3:00 p.m.  We offer a 4 year old morning session from 9:00-11:30 a.m. and our afternoon session is from 12:30 -3:00 p.m.

Our school also offers a Lunch Bunch Program.  AM students can extend the school day until 2:00 p.m.  PM students can be dropped off at 10:30 a.m.  The students brings a lunch and enjoy music, games, activities and projects during this time.  Lunch Bunch is open to all classes and helps serve the needs of our families.  The cost is $18/day until 2:00 p.m. or $15/day for early drop off.

Mrs. Jill Mahle and Mrs. Ursala Nicholson heads a staff of 4 teacher aids to provide a loving, safe and supportive environment that helps children thrive.
