Music at Newtown Presbyterian Church

Music is central to worship at newtown-presbyterian-church. Led by a staff of professional musicians and supported by volunteers, the music program features several ensembles and utilizes Keates and Estey organs.

Ensembles & Activities

• Chancel Choir: Rehearses Thursday evenings (8:00–9:30 PM); sings at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM Sunday services.
• Bell Choir: Rehearses Thursday evenings (7:00–8:00 PM); plays periodically.
• Handbell Quartet: Advanced ensemble for experienced ringers; collaborative worship music.
• Children's Choir: Meets Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM (after Sunday School) to learn songs for worship.
• Youth Bell Choir: Meets Sunday evenings at 5:00 PM.
